What is Helsinki like?

In the middle of May spring is already in the air in Finland, which, by the way, is the cleanest in the world, according to WHO. However, the weather can vary a lot in springtime in Helsinki. It can be below +10 C or over +20 C and sunny.

Helsinki is a vivid seaside city of beautiful islands and great nature around. So, go for a jog through forest or along the shore. If you have time, to do a little getaway from the city, jump on a ferry and travel to some of the several islands of Helsinki.

Several cultural attractions and places to visit are within walking distance from the city centre.  Awarded with City of Design status by Unesco, Helsinki is a modern city that is filled with lively events and flourishing food culture.
