Firstbeat at the 2016 Digital Health Summer Summit
Firstbeat founder and CEO Joni Kettunen will join an all-star cast of speakers and innovators at the 2016 Digital Health Summer Summit. This special event will take place June 6-8 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.
“This Digital Health Summit is an important opportunity to engage with the cutting edge of our industry,” explains Kettunen. “It is a very impressive collection of people, and it is always an honor to join the conversation surrounding digital health and especially how these technologies can become more impactful through integration with daily life.”
Organized by the theme Igniting the Tipping Point, this summit promises to showcase the latest digital health innovations from the industry’s most brilliant leaders and organizations to explore the issues and opportunities facing the industry with a focus on how the next phase of digital health technologies can deliver the right information to the right person at the precise moment of need.
Kettunen’s presentation, Game On: Digital Health Takes On NBA Champs Golden State Warriors, will reveal how the combination of heartbeat data, analytics and physiological modeling translate into a competitive advantage for an elite NBA franchise known for its tech savvy approach to the game. He will also describe how that same technology is being used to improve daily life for people around the world thanks to a unique method of lifestyle assessment and integration with over 60 popular consumer devices from industry leaders like Garmin, Samsung, Sony, Suunto, Microsoft and more.
This presentation is included as part of the summit’s Igniting Innovation series and is scheduled for 2:50pm on June 6th immediately following IBM Vice-president Zaher El-Assi’s Cognitive Learning in a Cognitive Era session highlighting the revolutionary potential of IBM’s Watson Health platform.
