Firstbeat Technologies Sees Change in CEO

Mar 31 2023 in News

Firstbeat’s founder, Joni Kettunen, has recently taken the role of CEO within the company. As the original driving force behind much of the company’s success, Joni will continue to lead the company to even greater heights.

As CEO, Joni will oversee all aspects of the company’s operations and will continue to work closely with the two business lines, Professional Sports and Wellness, to ensure that Firstbeat continues to deliver the highest quality products and services to their customers. He is also excited to learn more about how clients and partners are benefiting from using Firsbeat’s products.

“It is great to back in an operational position,” Joni Kettunen comments. “I want to thank our former CEO Tero Lehtonen for his valuable contribution to our company and work to help Firstbeat move forward. From the beginning, the vision has been to provide value to our health and wellness service providers.

We have seen significant progress to date with the development of the Firstbeat Life product, and our recent milestone of 1,000 Firstbeat Life partners sends a message of confidence from them that we are moving in the right direction.

From here we will continue with our goal in supporting wellness and sports professionals to measure stress, recovery, and athletic performance, to optimize elite sports coaching, and develop more impactful wellness services.”
