A Letter from Firstbeat CEO Joni Kettunen

Hello all,

The last year has been full of challenges and lessons to be learned for all of us. The ability to react to change, be agile, and commit to finding solutions has been essential across the globe. And, at Firstbeat, I like to think we embody those values.

I’d like to thank all Firstbeat employees, clients, customers, and partners for their dedication and hard work over the past 12 months.

Helping individuals reach their health and performance potential has never been so important, and the opportunity and need to learn from objective data never so relevant. The passion and commitment from so many people to achieving these goals meant we were able to accomplish some great things in 2020.

From launching our cutting-edge Firstbeat Life corporate wellness solution to a (virtual) global audience, to supporting athletes and teams through a turbulent sporting year, and everything in between.

Now to 2021, and I am truly excited to see what is possible this year. As health and well-being comes to the forefront, Firstbeat is ready to play our part in supporting individuals, organizations, and sports teams optimize performance and wellness and find what works for them.

I cannot wait to see Firstbeat Life continue to develop and bring science-backed confidence to employers, employees and beyond. And the roadmap for our Firstbeat Sports solution means I can confidently say we will continue to provide the most comprehensive and advanced performance analytics to our users.
