Markus Ramstedt has been appointed as Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Firstbeat Technologies from April 25, 2022 onwards.
Firstbeat Technologies offers pro-grade physiology-based SaaS services for professional team sports and wellness businesses globally. Since launching the all-new Firstbeat Life™ for corporate customers and partners, hundreds of partners from more than 20 countries have joined the platform and thousands of end-users are making positive lifestyle changes based on the insights provided by Firstbeat Life™ and partners’ data-driven services. In Professional Sports thousands of sports teams worldwide are already optimizing their performance with Firstbeat Sports performance management solution. Customers include teams from e.g. NBA, NFL, NHL and Champions League.
Firstbeat Technologies is ready for the next phase of commercial scaling and as the new CPO Markus Ramstedt will have a key role in developing the product strategy for Sports and Wellness businesses, and he will also lead the research and development teams.
Markus is moving from Digia where he has led the Financial Products Business Unit for the past six years. Prior to Digia, he has worked at Microsoft and Nokia in various senior-level roles including product portfolio management in both B2C and B2B businesses and in market and competitive intelligence roles.
