Assessing Athlete Performance and Trainability

27 Nov

27 Nov

Thursday, November 27, @ 15:00 GMT,16:00 CET, 17:00 EET

Every athlete is unique, and so is their response to training. Understanding these responses is key to maximizing performance.

In this session, we’ll explore how individual characteristics affect trainability and how coaches can gain deeper insights into athlete status through the concept of “invisible monitoring”.

We’ll also examine different ways to track player progress without explicit testing, and discuss how these methods can be used to complement more traditional assessment methods.

Finally, we’ll identify what impact extreme environmental factors such as heat and altitude have on athletes and the actions you can take to mitigate these effects.

Join Firstbeat’s Graham Stark for this 30-minute session designed for strength and conditioning coaches and performance staff working with elite athletes. If you want to turn physiological data into real results, this session should not be missed!
